A meet with PKV
--------------------
As a railfan, each one of us has some obsession or some sort of preference. Where zahaib prefers weird long routes at times, pkv prefers connecting trains, shashank prefers fastest trains and Teja prefers confirm berth by any route, I have an obsession too...
I am obsessed with weeklies and bi weeklies. My love for them refuses to...
more... diminish. Another obsession which I would like to share is I hate repeating trains. I ll seldom prefer a train I have travelled once and will change any no.of trains to avoid that...
With reference to the above obsession, I am onboard hlz mas sangrami express. I would like to inform that when I booked sangrami, plenty of seats were vacant in Duronto. And I am not destined to Chennai, hence I ll have to change a train at Chennai. To board sangrami I had to leave my home an hour earlier than I would have had I boarded Duronto. Also I would have reached Bangalore a minimum of 12 hrs earlier, but still I preferred a route involving two transfers and twelve hours extra. No wonder why we are rail fans.
So I booked a telescopic ticket from kharagpur to Bangalore via Chennai and planned to board an emu from howrah to kharagpur. When I Informed my plans to PKV sir, he was courteous enough to accompany me to kgp, even if it meant that he had to return all alone.
