It has broken all previous records with massive booking of 376 seats from Nawada, previously the highest was 269 seats on first run after Holi.

That doesn't matter too.Most trains which are halting nearby places of NWD district gets mostly filled from there respected origin station passing station only few quotas they have for example kiul/jhajha/gaya and some trains like Shramjeevi gets filled mostly between patna-ddu.And mainly people's residing in any town will look for train from their stations so they are preffering this humsafar also in humsafar getting confirmed ticket is easier than any mail/exp trains.
Getting tickets in this train is easier indeed but this doesn't make it first choice
