VSU-TAK line will be only for EMU trains directly from HWH to VSU. The route from Sheoraphully to Howrah has lots of EMU trains, Intercity will not get the required clearance and speed. Unless VSU-TAK line gets connected to HBC line, intercity will not run.
BQA-MSAE line after gets connected to HBC via Flyover towards HWH and connection towards BWN gets done with upcomming 4th line, number of express trains will increase in this route. Even trains like MALDA TOWN-DIGHA Exp, some trains from South India towards Guwahati side will be diverted via BQA-MSAE route. For this a flyover at BQA outer from KGP side towards BQA- MSAE line survey going on. After this flyover, trains from KGP end will directly...
more... get connected to BQA-MSAE route. BQA-MSAE route has a huge potential of getting doubled someday and will reduce load on other routes of SER also by diverting ttrains.
VSU-TAK line has huge passenger potential, it will give huge passengers to ER no doubt, but unless gets connected to HBC it will not used for Express trains much. Also at Seoraphully there is big crossing for trains from TAK/VSU end to HWH. EMU trains sometimes wait long at Seoraphulli for clearance as load on BDC to HWH route is also huge and major part is EMU trains.
