I agree to your points. Personally I am against this rubbish decision of Rake Standardization. But, in a public forum you should have fair selection of words.
However, the news article shared here seems to be flawed. The images shared in the article are from Sleeper class and the rush seems to be of waitlisted passengers as Duronto is fully reserved train.

IR babus need to travel in these trains and classes in person to get first hand experiences. They should know about the hardships a passenger faces while travelling, even after securing confirmed berths and paying for the service, they don't get. We need AC classes but, not at the expense of non AC classes. IR can introduce full AC trains as per demand and let normal trains as they used to be.

Anyway, the news article shared here seems to be messed up. The pictures they've shown are from the Sleeper class and the crowd seems to be of people on the waitlist because Duronto is a fully reserved train.
Those IR officials need to actually travel in these trains and experience them firsthand. They should know the struggles passengers go through even after getting confirmed tickets and paying for the service. We definitely need AC classes, but not at the expense of non-AC classes. IR can introduce full AC trains based on the demand and leave the regular trains as they were.
