When Banglore trains are extended to Mysore, there is no loss for Banglore. Similarly, this is NO LOSS for MLDT, anyways only MLDT will have to fill the Train after Extension.
And even without extension, the people from the smaller stations where train is extended will be coming earlier to nearby stations like MLDT only to catch trains to Capital Delhi.

Woh nahi hoga, GEN quota he rahega MLDT ke liye. MLDT will have more demand than Extended stations. Otherwise, Malda would require more seats than GEN.

I remember a lot of people used to mention how Sleeper and General class were loss makers and needed to be terminated as a whole.
What do y'all think about this? Loss making VBs. Some times ago I also made a post about how useless Bhopal - Indore VB was and Sampoorna Kranti's unreserved class was making more revenue than that of Bhopal - Indore VB.

Even the least patronage VB would partially fillup during Festival season, while SL & Gen coaches will make losses even when fully occupied, so comparison is not valid.
Few VB trains just need change in Timings or run on a different route designed by Railfans, while the fares of MAHAMANA & Amrit Bharat prove that People are willing and can easily pay a little more for these Services, now just Political will is needed to raise the Fares, these 2 classes can never be removed.
