Great Great Useful:Imp piece of info for DQ lovers
Some snaps from my travel in Deccan Queen.
The most important point that needs to be highlighted 1st is that after getting LHB rakes the only food items available in the Dining Car are Veg Cutlets and Omelette only/.
While talking to the staff they told me that it is only possible to make these two items in the LHB induction furnace as they are no longer allowed to carry LPG Cylinders in LHB. Even the electric furnace is not reliable as the power fluctuates sometimes. If this is the case...

with Deccan Queen then I think even Mandovi doesn’t offers variety of food items now.

Even though the maintenance and punctuality of this train is excellent, but the main attraction i.e the Dining Car has lost its charm as 90% of the food items are no longer available.
