So on the morning of Sept 4th, the availability in EC for Sept 5 departure till DEC was W/L 7 but till GGN was AVLBL 8. This is because since this is one of the very few trains that connect GGN to CDG directly, it get a lot of bookings on that sector. So there's a much higher chance of confirmation from AII/JP until GGN on a seat booked from there than it is till DEC.
