Our National Flag was first hoisted on the terrace of the main station building and then the big Flag was hoisted outside the main building. ARM Sir of Tatanagar was the Chief Guest of the day.

Train Boards of 2 TATA Coaching Depot trains were changed to AKAM themed boards. Both the boards were designed an gifted by Railfans ( for details check posts of Shashank Sekhar Swain ).
