He is in the ruling party now. SWR should be clear what benefits Goans will get post doubling. And Goans should ask SWR straight forward questions like why are some pre covid era trains from VSG not running now. Also Goans should ask when all other stations including Madgaon can run 22 coach LHB trains why can't Vasco and why is no single premium train terminating at Vasco.
But sadly the discourse is rubbish. SWR are in their own arrogance and treat Goans like dirt and the protesting Goans are straight away asking to scrape double tracking instead of putting forward their demands.

Personally I won't get into politics but only hope people allow double tracking to proceed without much hassle and SWR in return restores pre covid era trains to VSG and commission 2nd pitline at VSG soon.

First SWR should commission second pitline at Vasco Da Gama and restart VSG MAS express and VSG BGM passenger, increase CC of Goa express, Vasco Patna SF and Vasco Jasidih express to 22 coach LHB rakes and co-operate with SCR to cancel VSG KCG slip and allow LHB conversion of Amaravati express. These things can happen without double tracking too.

The concept of unreserved class should have been totally eliminated in all M/E trains by now. They should have continued conversion of GS into 2S done during covid.
250 to 300 people travelling like animals with UR tickets in a GS coach vs 100 people travelling in same coach like humans which is better ? That's the question people should have been asking but unfortunately it's easy to blame everything on rake standardization as if trains with less AC coaches don't run overcrowded.

Agar UR aur WL tickets ke sath reserved coaches mein board kar rahe ho toh offence toh kar rahe ho. Railways ko in logon ko turant coaches se utar dena chahiye. Aur kaun si suvidha bhai bhed bakron ki tarah ek coach mein travel karne ko agar suvidha kehte hai toh ye suvidha tumhe hi mubarak ho.
Aur Indians mein toh civic sense na ke barabar hi hai bhaad mein jaye dusre log mujhe toh mere pure family ke sath festival ke liye Gaon jana hi hai chahe train puri tarah se full kyun na ho.

VSG also suffering badly in SWR. A totally new zone should be formed consisting of VSG to LD section and KRCL plus MAQ.
