thik baat hai ki kai trains ka speed upgradation hua hai...but is speed upgradation ka benefit memu/passenger/fast passenger trains ko kyu nahi diya gaya?
fast passenger trains ko bina avg speed badhaye express mein convert karke ek tareeke se se express category ka degradation hua hai.
kai small stations aise hain aaj ke date mein jaha din bhar mein koi train halt nahi karti. IMO stops remove kiye bina avg speed badthi local trains ki wahi to sahi mayne mein speed upgradation kehlata

Yeah, most of the trains actually got degraded/slow down. Classic example our RKMP Shatabdi.. track updates/speed updates..still taking longer then it used to take in the past.
And agree on SF state, I believe almost 50% of SFs are just fulfilling the requirement of being SF by running at 55/56 km/h.. sad
