Khatoon (45) from Ward 8 Jamaipara and Vishukhi Behera (55) from Ward 7 Harijan Basti, were reportedly cutting firewood when the accident happened. The freight train was heading towards Tata. The bodies of both women were found near pole numbers 183/12N and 183/14A/L. After the incident, villagers gathered at the site. The GRP arrived late in the evening, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem. Julekha Khatoon was a vegetable vendor but had not opened her shop on Sunday. Both bodies remained on the railway track for a long time before the former Ward Councilor of Ward 8, Mo. Gulab, and villagers informed the GRP.

इनमें से एक जुलेखा खातून (45 वर्ष) वार्ड नंबर 8 के जमाईपाड़ा की रहनेवाली थी, जबकि विशुखी बेहरा (55 वर्ष) वार्ड 7 हरिजन बस्ती की थी। मालगाड़ी टाटा की ओर जा रही थी। शाम को ट्रैक पार करते समय दोनों महिलाएँ मालगाड़ी की चपेट में आ गईं और हादसा हो गया। एक महिला का लाश पोल संख्या 183/12एन और दूसरी का लाश पोल संख्या 183/14 ए/ एल के पास पड़ी थी। घटना के बाद मौके पर ग्रामीणों की भीड़ लग गई। देर शाम जीआरपी घटनास्थल पर पहुँची और शवों को कब्जे में कर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा। जुलेखा खातून सब्जी बेचती थी, पर रविवार को दुकान नहीं खोली थी। दोनों लाशें काफी देर तक रेल ट्रैक पर ही पड़ी रहीं। इसके बाद वार्ड नंबर 8 के पूर्व वार्ड पार्षद मो. गुलाब और ग्रामीण जीआरपी कार्यालय पहुँचे और सूचना दी। इसके बाद जीआरपी घटनास्थल पर पहुँची।

Maalgaadi Tata ki taraf jaa rahi thi. Shaam ko, track cross karte waqt, dono aurat maalgaadi ke niche aa gayi, aur accident ho gaya. Ek aurat ka laash pole number 183/12N aur dusri ka laash pole number 183/14A/L ke paas mila. Incident ke baad, gramvaasiyon ki bheed jama ho gayi. Shaam ko, GRP maidan pe pahuncha aur laashon ko kaboje mein kar postmortem ke liye bhej diya. Julekha Khatoon subzi bechti thi, par Sunday ko usne dukaan nahi kholi thi. Dono laash bahut der tak rail track pe padi rahi. Uske baad, Ward number 8 ke pehle Ward Councillor, Mo. Gulab, aur gramvaasi GRP office gaye aur information di. Uske baad GRP maidan pe pahuncha.
