Devotees from all over the state are traveling to Arunachaleswara Swami temple during Karthika Masam. For their convenience, a weekly train is available from Anantapur to Arunachalam. PM on Wednesdays and reaches Anantapur at 5:10 AM. The Arunachalam temple is adorned for the Karthika Deepam festival, which begins on December 4th with the flag hoisting ceremony. The main event, the Maharathothsavam, will take place on December 10th, featuring the procession of the deities on a grand chariot along with five smaller chariots. Over 35 lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple during this year's Karthika Deepothsavam. The Bharani Deepam will be lit on the morning of December 13th and the Maha Makara Deepam will be lit in the evening.

Return train Budhvaar raat 9:12 PM Arunachalam se chalta hai aur subah 5:10 AM Anantapur pahunchta hai. Arunachalam temple, Karthika Deepam festival ke liye sajava gaya hai. Yeh 4 December ko flag hoisting ceremony ke saath shuru hota hai. Main event, Maharathothsavam, 10 December ko hoga. Ismein, Swamiji aur Ammavari ko ek badi rathi mein, aur panch choti rathiyon mein, procession nikala jayega. Is saal, Karthika Deepothsavam mein, 35 lakh se zyada bhakt aane ki ummeed hai. 13 December ko subah Bharani Deepam aur shaam ko Maha Makara Deepam jalaaya jayega.
