A minor update, but may impact many members:
Hereafter, FMs will be able to delete invalid Red Flags on Imaginary trains. Red Flags can be removed by FMs, only against specific complaints filed against the blog. This does not give all members the right to complain against EVERY single red flag they receive. FMs will promptly void complaints and issue GW/SW to members misusing the Report feature.
.
The...
more... main purpose of a Red Flag is to provide constructive feedback to the creator. Invalid Red Flags include:
1. short comments where the reasons are not clear
2. making impossible demands
3. posting a comment that makes fun of the train/creator and provides no constructive feedback to the creator,
4. blank comments
.
By tomorrow, an enhancement will be made whereby, a Strict Warning will be issued against the member simultaneously whenever a Red Flag is removed. As SW means the member will no longer be able to rate any trains. Thereafter, the member will have to clearly explain why the Red Flag was given without sufficient reason. If the reasons are not satisfactory, the SW will NOT be lifted.
.
Finally, all are welcome to use the Red Flag feature, but please provide clear and honest reasons so that the creator of the TT can understand and improve his train, rather than just demoralizing him/her.
.
Thanks.
