IMO 3 hrs run is sufficient b/w INDB and BPL. If they want to run it from HBJ then add 15 mins thats it. The DD used to cover the distance in 3hr35min with 6 halts. 3hr15min is still slacked if train is non-stop. In return 3hr30min is good cz at that time BPL has plenty of passing trains so getting entry at that time period would be difficult.
The route has potential for giving good avg despite being having MPS of 110. In my last journey in DADN ICE the train covered INDB-SHRN in 3 hr 4-5 mins with 6 halts with avg of 67kmph. It departed INDB 15 mins late and arrived SHRN 30 mins early. So maintaining an...
more... avg of 70kmph nonstop is not a big deal in this route. But yes as IR loves slacky TT it will also get one (if ever introduced).
