After 20th July heavy reduction in SL coaches and increase in 3AC and 2AC. It looks like only 1 or 2 SL coaches will remain after 20th July. Only 26 seats SL quota E2E.

1) I can cite hundreds of instances where the current govt announced welfare schemes so that they want to win elections.
2) The trend of delaying passenger trains for the sake of freight has already started.SCR has not speeded up trains inspite of 130 MPS, look at the delay of trains in SECR and SER.
3) IR has no problem running luxury trains with huge losses and extending them but apparently the crowd which deserves subsidized travel have to compromise. Why don't they experiment cutting costs in these trains?

They have electricified whole India , which is good, but haven't worked on transitioning to greener ways of energy generation. So we're back to square one.
5) Public transport has to be a convenience. When it is subsidized, we see that this boosts middle class or lower class prosperity. Another way to do this is the concept of Minimum wage . Here we see a govt going ham on unions and making China-like rules removing safe work conditions for workers, despite it's hatred for China.
6) DA is being increased because of inflation as well, are you and me responsible for this? You talk about middle class and lower class, you have seen what has happened with fuel prices.
7) Finally, the point everyone has been repeating. It is fine to do these changes in a area that is more prosperous. Bundelkhand, all we know, is an area known for quite the opposite. You have said BJP controlled and won two three times. Why hasn't this situation changed? People are not voting just on these issues, the current govt is also playing mind games, inciting divide, and the first one to be affected will again be, lower income families.
So tell me what it is.They want to cheat in someways that will benefit them but compromise in some other ways.

Apparently, IR does not want to do concrete and feasible solutions. So why come up with these changes in the first place? They can just revert to back how things were and things will handle themselves. People won't face difficulties during travel.

All people are saying is stop with the 2 SL stuff. Atleast 7-8 SL was doing fine.

Agree Sir. I feel like Government is also starting to realize it's mistake now that elections are approaching. Was shocked to see new Coach Composition of SC GHY SF. 11 SL coaches!!! Hopefully we will continue to see some sane coach compositions.

As you explained for coromandal and other. Actually UPSK type trains not needed much AC coaches than SL class . In some section have only one dedicated trains then railway should not be extend more AC coaches in dedicated trains.
Railway should use standardization in only popular or busier routes .
