it is extremely difficult for building a 4 lane bridge which is 5 km long. The Mumbai sealink is an exception.

are'nt you aware of the situations of the country you are living in???
how can it be 3 lane.... just for words. the state government has planned to put no dividers. there is a narrow pedestrian on either side of the bridge. so how can it be 3 lane.
June 30 ULTIMATE DEADLINE. The bridge is completed only appraoch roads are under construction.
Now whoever says that the bridge should have been 4 lane or 8 lane like the mumbai sea link, he must understand yhe condition and position of railways.
It took 20 years to build a Taj Mahal and it has taken 15+ years to build a 5 km long bridge even in 21st century.... which is neither going to be the 8th wonder of the world.
So, we must stay happy of what we got.

i know the condition of India. I am personally saying that you must look at the width of the bridge. The sanctioned bridge Kachhi Dargah-Biddupur bridge will be 9.76 km long. so you must agree with the size and extent of the river. just saying that the state is bihar you can't just conclude that the bridge has taken so many years. i just dont want to comment more....... . i live in west bengal, , , even here the condition is not the same.

Mind that you are already getting 3 massive road bridges which are suspension and greenfield bridges. that's too good..... let this bridge be for rail.
