These timings are convenient only from Thrissur to TVM travellers What about Salem to Coimbatore stretch? Most travellers are working class and want to leave in evening or afternoon attending to work with these timings they have to plan next day. They are overnight buses from Hyd to Salem Coimbatore and Madurai leaving after 1600 from northern end Miyapur pickup travellers from west and entrance.parts and SCR is busy in shifting train services to East end. How many years they will depend on one train atleast they should plan 4 days a week in return timings from TVM in morning.

Looks Ike you travel in sabari express daily to Kerala that you are he'll boubt to change in timings. This train is running with same timings from past 25 years and and many travellers enroute are used to timings and change will effect them. It's ridiculous to say put a proposal to SR to serve TN and its upto railways to identify routes and serve people otherwise people select their travel options.

I am in vizag and have written my concerns here when YPR HWH and Mail timings have changed as Vskp is biggest loser of convenient overnight trains to Howarh and both train have considerable quota. I oppose any change in daily trains timings which are running from past 10+ year.

Hi friends
I have a doubt which can be clarified by all seniors here.
Is it possible a train to start from VSKP and go to SGRL (Singrauli) via Ranchi and halt there for 3 hrs and to start again as a new train to SC via Anuppur have a SM there and then go to VSKP. If this has to do as Tri-Weekly how many rakes needed? Is this best to save rakes or to give 2 rakes each to VSKP and SC to run as Tri-Weekly as separate trains? And if

my point one is good how many rakes really needed and what will the revenue sharing pattern? Same for return pattern VSKP-SC-SGRL-RNC-VSKP.
Can any one please explain?
Thanks in advance.

There's no need to run daily train to Singrauli or they require full 22 coach train. An 18 coach overnight triweekly to Tatanagar and Ranchi is more then enough. In 2013 they have introduced number of weekly trains and all if them have RSA. All the trains are successfull and require frequency increase
1. Remove RSA of both Chennai express and make them daily with 2 rakes.
2. Remove RSA of Kollam express and make it Biweekly
3.

Remove RSA of Shirdi and make it Biweekly
4. NeD express should be made daily with 4 days to Vikarabad.
Like these they are n number of requirements for Vskp with 4-5 new rakes then to Singrauli.

Yesterday this train was having 200+ berths vacant in 3AC class. And as usual delayed by +3 hrs. This train demand is decreasing due to delay, and day time scheduled run. Why no one is accountable, and not taking any action.

Useful
Lot of reasons
1. No one will waste full daytime for 15-16 hrs journey that too on Monday morning.
2. There is no demand for 8 AC sleeper coaches in that route or intermediate station traveller can afford to pay high price and travel during day. 80% of demand is to Visakhapatnam who don't want to travel during day.
3. Consistent delay of

3 hrs from Tatanagar which increases to 5 hrs.
4. High number of AC coaches cannot be sustain with considerable occupamcy on all routes and B routes need more SL and less AC coaches. 8 SL and 6-8 AC coaches are enough in this route provided the return be also overnight journey

These are examples of illogical planning in IR, lack of stabling lines, taking travellers time for granted and not to say travellers travel even with worst timings as they are used to IR and have sick phobia of road transport. Chennai Vskp even with day timings gets 80-90% occupancy on the 2 days only tatkal tickets won't be booked.

It has came in news that it's RSA Agra New Delhi Intercity Express will be converted into Vande Metro.

So it is possible that this train rack will also be replaced with Vande Metro.

Don't think they will replace with Vande Metro. VM will be 12/16 coach while the Agra intercity is running with 20 passenger coaches and can't handle the load of travellers. If even replaced it will not replace Gomti express as distance is 500km and less number of coaches.

Gwalior doesn't have morning intercity to Delhi while opp direction Taj express runs. Vande Metro should run from Gwalior to Nizamuddin I addition to intercity from Agra.

In each SL they are extra 40 passengers travellingbin standing and in general extra 100 passrngers are travelling beyond seating capacity making 600 passrngers more then capacity and I'd they are 2-3 trains EG Nagpur Mumbai a total if 1500-1800 extra travelkers means a full daily Amrit Bharat is required exclusively then only the problem will come down for 1-2 years. After that again the number travellers will increase in future and introduction of new trains should be a continous process 1 train in 3-5 yrs then only they can control overcrowding. Putting heavy fine, put illegal passengers in jail will not yield results. If the passrngers are travelling by standing for 12-14 hrs itself says that these classes cannot afford to pay 3AC fares and travel. If IR feels financial burden then SL and GS fares should be increased by 30 % and provide trains by reducing the subsidy...
