Please read the timetable of this train first and then reply
Who said single trip in a week ? Providing it LHB will instead provide LHB to two trains (Allahabad Duronto and Karmali AC Express).
Don't discourage the development of this train just because it skips Jabalpur

It's a Duronto class train profitable or not, it's treated on par with Rajdhani trains, people are paying more for this train than for Mahanagri Express. So by common sense and ethics this train should get LHB on priority basis as it's the Longest Distance Covering Non LHB Duronto of Indian Railways
Plus the people especially the Unreserved pax would themselves discourage the LHB for Mahanagri as it would mean reduction of coaches (by current policy of IR "Unreserved ones " are on the hitlist)
You think yourself

People only think about advantages of LHB consider it's disadvantages too Mahanagri is a long train so coaches will be reduced.
Duronto is a short train so it's more advantageous for it

Consider running time and other facilities provided to people travelling as well as the fare paid by them.
Tell me any single non LHB Duronto or non Hybrid LHB Duronto covering a greater distance than this one, any ONE

Read my previous posts on this train I myself travelled in this train many times in lean periods and still it was having waiting lists, my whole coach was filled with waiting list people.
By your logic LHB shouldn't be given to many Rajdhani trains and Duronto trains and people who are travelling in these trains are (by implication) fools for paying higher fares without getting proper or advantageous facilities

Look at my previous reply, PEOPLE ARE TRAVELLING AND PAYING HIGHER AMOUNT THAN NORMAL SUPERFAST TRAIN, why shouldn't the get the facilities for which they paid for, they're not concerned with change in ministries, policies or priorities, they're only concerned with facilities.

But in my opinion people who are travelling in an old coach should be given a little more favor than people who travel for only 7 hours, but opinions differ and I respect that.
For example had NZM ERS Duronto been Non Hybrid LHB, it would've been a bigger loss making train because people prefer comfort of LHB.
I myself find it somewhat funny I don't know why 😂😂😂

Welfare is right motive but profit can't be neglected, it's essential for development and for profit you must provide facilities.
If people are willing to pay more provided they get some extra facilities, then it's foolish to neglect their demand.

So who's judging IR I'm just saying give that 5-6 % trains efficient facilities because believe it or not people are paying MORE for it.
Public welfare should be ENSURED but profit shouldn't be NEGLECTED, just for the sake of image.
Because profit is important for development.
I don't know why I have to say it again and again.
The
...
only reason why these premium, Suvidha or Duronto trains are incurring losses is because facilities are not provided.
Believe me or not people in India have a lot of money they just want facilities

Yes that can be done. That way Jabalpur would get adequate seats and other quotas won't be affected, brilliant idea.
Plus they should provide LHB coaches for this train, which would increase its seating capacity. I think it's the only duronto which is running more than 700 kilometres with ICF coaches

I don't think that would be a good idea for people of Satna, Rewa and Allahabad as Varanasi is perfectly capable of filling any train to Mumbai even if the train would be 26 coaches and daily, Varanasi will fill it without any difficulty leaving a whole lot less for others. Even for this trip I had to reserve till Allahabad to get my seat confirmed,I wanted to go to Rewa by deboarding at Satna and taking ANVT Rewa Express

Yes absolutely, but indian railways is engulfed in politics especially in UP,in UP too mainly in Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Varanasi. Allahabad Duronto should have been given LHB even if they want to politicise their trains as The last time I checked Allahabad does come in UP
In case of other Duronto trains all can be given LHB coaches except Ahmedabad Mumbai Duronto as it has 3 AC economy coaches

I think it will be always a debatable issue of extension of this train, Duronto was a successful concept but executed in a wrong way, it should have been more concentrated on U.P., from Lucknow, Allahabad and Varanasi each a duronto to Mumbai and a Duronto to Bengaluru would've solved most of the woes of the state from UP only Allahabad has a duronto to both New Delhi and Mumbai that are running successfully more places in UP like Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Varanasi should have been given, at least from Mumbai. Cities of UP like Varanasi and Allahabad desperately need this type of train to Bengaluru.

Mind blowing, even I was surprised, the train was FULL, a specific announcement is made at LTT for this train saying No waiting list passengers should board this train at any condition. My entire B5 coach was filled with Tatkal passengers and a large number of people were talking to TTE 's for getting a seat in this train. Coach attendants and TTE told me that only around August to September does this train remain somewhat empty. Otherwise it's always full. Many people got off at Satna and more than themthem boarded this train from Satna to Allahabad.

You cannot decide which city deserves a train or not. Please know the local conditions before commenting.
I can also say that Mau also doesn't deserve many trains but I'm not, because I don't know much of a ground reality of Mau.
Please respect the dignity of small cities.
I agree that the demand of Garibrath is not suitable

BTW Out of those 'many' trains only two have GNWL quota and Suvidha is not a Suvidha for common people. There are dedicated trains only to UP and Bihar not a single one for MP (mainly Katni, Satna, Shahdol, Sagar, Rewa)
More than 10 dedicated trains to Gorakhpur and not a single one to these stations even collectively.
And we all know the rush from UP and Bihar, how will a person from MP get a seat ? Please explain

The railway lines near Lucknow are not in good condition and NR is also careless about their maintenance, last night only read a news about trains running over a broken railway line sleeper while NR Lucknow Division denied the whole thin, better to run it via NCR congested and accident prone but atleast they take responsibility and maintain their tracks

I agree out of the two pairs of Rajdhani trains one could be run via Lucknow which would decongest Allahabad and Kanpur too, or else they could run Duronto trains via Lucknow, anyway they skip Allahabad. Majority of trains which skip Allahabad could be run via Lucknow, it'll benefit Lucknow & Varanasi and decongest both Kanpur and Allahabad
