Looks like a good idea, but I dont know how practical it is. KR is a single line and there needs to be a convenient slot available around the time of the proposed departure of 16356 towards Konkan. To add to the complication is that KR operates with two sets of TT - monsoon and non monsoon

I watched a few minutes of the video. The area is beautiful. Which months should we visit to get the best experience? Which month were the photos/video taken? Is their a place nearer Maho where one can stay for a couple of days?

For those who want to travel from Ahmedabad to Surat, tickets are not available for booking in any class. Only after chart is prepared, tickets are available under current booking.
this looks a bit odd. what happens to the surat quota from surat to howrah? do they keep the seats vacant till the charting? usually the computer system allocates such quota for short journeys. am i wrong?
Even though 'No Tips Please' this message is clearly stiched on the uniforms of the catering staff they will still collect the tip at the end of the journey.

i said thank you to you for this remark. the reason i did not say thanks on the main posting is that requesting for a tip is very very common in many many trains. maybe it is so, because i have traveled in rajdhani or shatbdi since 1980s. so in a way, it is nothing new for me. secondly, i just ignore when catering staff ask for tip. I sometimes feel bad for the condition of the staff especially if they work for contractors. On long distance trains the situation is bad. They have to live in a train for 5-7 days. Anyway, I have said 'useful I agree' now. thanks
