not a fair one.. meaning that passenger should be checing the status whole the night. I think there is a common methodology, where in for all early morning and late night trains, the chart will get prepared by 10PM or so ...?
can someone concurr on this.

Hi Admins,
Please help with the below query.
A tatkal ticket booked in the IRS is missing. BUt the passenger knows the seat number.How to get a duplicte tkt.?
Else, if the passenger boards on to the train and he can show the original identity to the TTE and request for a duplicate tkt.? If yes, any charges for this .?

Admins, IRCTC fraud repeats in Spl trains for Pongal.
07337 KCG-CCT, spl train announced yesterday, bookings open by 8 AM today,till 7:58:59 it was showing , "booking allowwd only after 8AM", but,i could see the book now button by 7:59 with avaialabilty as 311.
I could complete booking by 8AM and surprised to see my tkt as W/L 118/106.

agree, but , my transaction completed by 8:00:39, i could see the screen.., and i dont agree that we have all the counters hitting the same train as the first ticket..that too by sharp 8 AM, even to see the filled form and enter the data in to the system needs some time..rt..? be realistic... think right..

i know this Bro, I already have a CNF tkt for 9th , just wanted to try for 10th night , thinking, 2 days leave will be saved.even I can go by car if required..but, just wanted to try and chk this option..i was thinking, that if i can book it in forst 3 mnutes, i could, but , no luck, fraud wins over the evil :-)
