Agree. Instead of taking pride in running VB, IR must think about patronage & success rate of train along with budget of common people. By running ICE or JS SWR can maximize patronage and provide options that suit different budgets and preferences.

The Hosapete station consists of three platforms. It is a station with a fuel and water filling facility. The station is also known as Hospet Jn.
Amenities such as a computerized reservation office, waiting room, retiring room, book stall & canteens are available at PF1.

For travelling to the city, Auto rikshaw's are readily available.
You need to bargain with Autowalas.
At night, bargaining will not be useful, as there is limited automobiles available due to police permission required for running an Autorickshaw at night.
There are a lot of tourist attractions nearby.
You can visit Hampi, TB dam, Anagundi, Kishkindha, Munirabad project site & Gunda forest, etc.
Lots of hotels are available near the railway station.
Also, retiring rooms are available in the station building.
Lift is also available.
AC Waiting room is available on GADAG end on PF1.
The ladies' waiting room & the general waiting room are available on the BAY side.

It has been decided to extend the service of re-routing Train No. 06243/06244 KSR Bengaluru-Hosapete-KSR Bengaluru Daily Passenger Special via Ballari Bypass with the existing timings and composition. The details are as follows:

1.Train No. 06243 KSR Bengaluru-Hosapete Daily Passenger Special, which was earlier notified to run from KSR Bengaluru up to September 13, 2023, will be extended further up to September 13, 2024.
