Division Change for Daund _Ankai section is now official
Hello dear friends.The much awaited Division change for Daund-Ankai is now official.This stretch has been handed over to Pune division and the Railway Minister has approved the division change.This brings an end to the misery and trauma faced by the stretch for years under Solapur division.This change will pave way for direct trains between Pune and Ahmednagar in the very near future and also for a direct railway line between Pune and Nagar via Ranjangaon, Wagholi. Nitin Gadkari has already started a 16 lane 3 tier Flyover on the Pune - Nagar highway on which the top most tier is for the railways to run a direct train from Pune to Nagar. The work is in full swing near Shikrapur.

Ahmednagar- Beed-Parli new line completed big milestone yesterday with High Speed trial on Solapurwadi- Ashti station (~30km) on this line. With this ~70 km of new line out of under construction 260 km has become operational.

shri1108~ 54 blog postsThe CRS between Ashti to Solapurwadi was a grand success.We may very soon see a DEMU train between Pune to Ashti running on this track.If I am not wrong, a further 30 kms railway line has been laid from Ashti towards Beed side but the other insfastructure like Stations etc has not been completed.We may see another CRS on this line in a span of 6 months.Then there will be direct CRs till Beed. God seems to have helped this project.There were many enemies wanting to cancel this project.Cheers!!!

CRS between Solapurwadi and Ashti slated for 29th December and December 30th.

Good news.The much awaited CRS between Ahmednagar and Ashti on the Nagar-Beed-Parli new under construction railway line will be held on December 17, 2021.The dreams of many rail lovers will be fulfilled. Ahmednagar will also be given the Junction status.Cheers!!!

Absolutely right.This line will mostly connect Beed by Next December.By March 2024, the railways plan to finish connecting till Parli Vaijnath.
Bro, there is a big lobby in CR which did not want this line to take off.There was deliberate delay from SUR division.When we saw this happening over a period of so many years we used the legal means to get to the railway ministry and the PMO;s office.We got favourable reply too and now action has started on the ground. My dear friend Mr Sachin has contributed immensely in this mission and has made life miserable for all Central railway top authorities.He even met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and appraised him of the slowness in work.I can assure you that the work and the required funds will be speeded up for this project.No power on Eart can delay or stop this project now.Cheers!!!

Hi Bro.Not top bosses of CR.A lobby from Shrirampur and Kopargaon supported by thick skinned politicians.They wanted a line from Belapur to Parli Vaijnath.Now they have lost a chance.Hece they wanted this project to be scrapped.
