Lake near Jasidih station. The lakeside compound can be accessed from PF #1 directly and is a good location during nighttime in summers or if someone is going in winters, then daytime as well.

I stayed at the retiring room of Jasidih railway station. Retiring rooms are also available at Deoghar and Baidhyanath Dham rail station but honestly, those are smaller cramped accomodations and the latter's retiring room was closed when I visited it. Jasidih, being the biggest station, might be your best bet.

It closes in the afternoon for couple of hours. There is rush during morning time, so you might have to wait for some time then.I visited it around noon when it was much emptier. The same stands true for 'Basukinath', another temple usually visited by folks going there. That also sees significant crowd during early daytime before calming down. Basukinath is easily accessible by couple of morning trains going towards there including a 0725 hrs EMU.

If someone wants to go to Digha beach, like from Tatanagar, then how can I reach?
If i choose to go via Kharagpur I can go via bus. But if i want to go via Jaleswar, I have to get a cab/auto. Can anyone tell me that cabs are available in jaleswar for digha? And how much they charge???

I went to Digha once by taking an EMU from KGP for Panskura and then an EMU from there to Digha. But boy, the Digha section has so much demand and much lower capacity for running trains. The train was more full than a Bombay local during peak times. I couldn't even get onto the train. Fortunately, I was traveling with my Mum and somehow she took me into the ladies coach [which was also, somewhat full of men ; policemen could hardly supervise such a crowd] where I was standing for the rest of the journey.

It depends a lot on slack as well. Let us say, a SF train is running on time and has slack before reaching the next station. Chances are it can be made to stop at some outskirts and some normal train OT it.
