This government is for rich people AC traveling passengers. Only 2 Sleeper and only 2 GS coach in a rake. Totally bad decision. There will be huge rush in 3AC Coaches also. Also, Poor peoples who travels in SL and GS coaches will be by force have to pay more and travel in AC coaches as they will not get ticket in 2 SL coaches.
This government needs to be changed in 2024 it is too much now. Only trying new new ways to loot people. Be it running passenger trains with Express fare, be it removing Senior citizen concession , now this rake standardisation.

Read my post before replying. I have not told that new government will provide free of cost train travel. I have said increase fare instead of reducing sleeper coaches to 2 nos and forcing poor people to buy AC tickets when they will not get seats in SL coaches. Atleast 7 Sleeper coach in a rake is needed.
Why looting money roundabout manner? Why not increase Sleeper fare slightly and keep sufficient SL and AC coach in a train? Is government is in fear that in this time of mehengayi in everything if train tkt fare is increased they can lose in 2024? So, looting people in other ways instead of increasing fare ?

all these steps r because in last year private train scheme many private companies (now tempora stopped) said they want to run full AC trains but in IR most trains has many SL coaches and passengers largely prefer SL coaches then 3AC then 2AC then 1AC coaches travel. So, govt reducing SL coaches in all trains to make passengers HABITUATED of AC travel BY FORCE. So that in future when private train comes with full AC coaches, passengers travel in AC as they will get acustomed till then. Is it so? I think you know better than me on this. No roundabout answer please because i and many rail employees know the correct rason for this rake standardisation.
