CLEARLY mentioned in news article that in upcoming days trains of KCG-YPR via gadwal route will be diverted via Raichur -krishna -devarkadra route. YPR-GTL-RC-KSN-MBNR-KCG will be the fastest route , also RAICHUR generates more income than KURNOOL . So this might be an alternative route to be considered .

Trains on new route doesnt need to wait for 110 kmph SPEED UPGRADATION
to run. Newly formed GTL byepass is 80KMPH FIT , But still 3 passenger trains are running right from day 1. KSN-DEVARKADRA 64 KM can be covered 70 min.
Overall section wise my assumption of travel time for a KCG-YPR train via KSN-MBNR is : KCG-MBNR=1.5hrs.

One Major chunk of Loss of trains for GTL is due to gy-pdl line....As this line makes short cut route for Ru-Kcg and Sbc-Kcg and Sbc-Bza trains, appox 20 pair of trains lost by GTL .....Since the new Gtl byepass line is now operational, they can divert trains like kongu, wainganga , puri garibrath etc from Sbc side to run via klu- gtl bypass- dhne. Though some 22 kms extra , but can cover the distance due to Fedl . Another thing is to Permanently changing crew exchange from Dmm to Gtl and skip Dmm . Just like GDR in Bza-Mas section.

Great...... But only constraint will be kurnool. If they do not consider kurnool important then some trains can easily diverted.
