DrAbhijay2407 317 blog postsThe seats of double decker are not very comfortable. Luggage space is poor in case of upper and lower decks . Same holds true for legroom. The coach feels cramped up and suffocating in case all seats are booked (rare , but have unfortunately experienced the scenario). A normal LHB Chair Car is much better .
The rake is a mix of Uday and double decker livery coaches . The windows on the lower deck in old DD coaches were full of scratches. Food trays were loose and dirty .

As I had highlighted in an earlier post , the major problem with jaipur metro is the route of current metro and it's frequency. The current route has less takers.

I completely agree .
Metro can do wonders in so called "tier 2 cities" , if the routes are meticulously picked , after proper research and analysis ; and adequate transport connectivity from/to metro stations is ensured (Poor- in case of Jaipur). It can aid in reducing traffic jams and reduce reliance on local bus operators and cabs . Also, I believe monetary loss cannot always be the 'sole criteria' of judging performance of a metro network .

Cleanliness - Station is clean .
Auto/taxi - Ola/Uber drivers tend to ask location and cancel. Auto drivers tend to overcharge exuberantly.
In case you do not speak Tamil and are new to Tamil Nadu , prefer to alight at MGR Chennai Central over Perumbur .
