Finally managed to hop on the super-hyped VB train series from KCG to KRNT on 19/12/2023. The train was packed af even though it's a chill weekday. It took off right on time from KCG PF2. The insides were hella clean, didn't use the washrooms but caught a whiff of something funky when the doors opened. I reckon it's 'cause people ain't clued up about the bio toilets. The acceleration was off the charts, way better than regular trains. The architecture has some issues tho. For example, there ain't much space between the armrest and the side wall in C1. You can hear a lotta track noise, meaning the train isn't as soundproof as those ICF coaches. AC 3 tier/2 tier were soundproofed better than VB. The constant announcements got on my nerves too. In the end, I reckon this was a one-off thing. Our journey got delayed by 30 minutes 'cause the train got stuck on the outskirts of MBNR due to a lack of platforms. But other than that, the train arrived at least 15 minutes early. Overall, it could easily be speeded up by 45 minutes.

Acceleration toh bohot super hai, regular trains se bahut better hai Architecture mein kuchh kamiyan hai, for example C1 mein arm rest aur side wall ke beech bahut kam jagah hai. Track ki awaaz bahut sunai deti hai, matlab train andar sound proof nahi hai compared to ICF coaches, AC 3 tier/2 tier jyada sound proof hai. Aur bahut saari announcements thodi irritating hai Finaly, pata hai yeh ek baar ka cheez hai, humari yatra MBNR ke bahar 30 minutes tak roki, kyunki MBNR mein platforms ki kami hai. Warna train kam se kam 15 minutes pehle pahuch gyi thi. Overall, speed ko 45 minutes tak increase kiya ja sakta hai

Kitne din, hafte ya mahino se ye bade TN, KL, TG, AP wale log New Delhi ko samay pe ya pehle se pahunch gaye hai? Lag raha hai ke NCR aur NR zone ke liye ye ab koi mukhya baat nahi hai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Secunderabad ke Rajadhani aur Dutontos bhi ab samay par nahi pahunch rahe hai. Bhopal tak toh lagbhag samay par ya thoda late hai, lekin wahan se sabhi trainen dakshin ki taraf se troll ho rahi hai. Badhne wala traffic hi karan hai ya kuch aur hai? Ya phir ye bas ek aam cheez hai jo ignore ki ja sakti hai?

Let's make a few changes to the SCR schedule and add another train to Kondaveedu. It would be great if SWR also had an early arrival at YPR on the opposite side. Unfortunately, there are no convenient trains from Guntur to Bangalore. It would be better if Kondaveedu's arrival at YPR could be extended to 6:30 am or earlier. This way, it can also be extended to Chamarajanagar. So, congestion at YPR is not a reason for SWR. I hope Kondaveedu becomes a daily train soon with better timings and early arrival at YPR. It would also be a good idea to extend it to Chamarajanagar.
