Pulling in after 12688 Dehradun - Madurai SF Express. Hauled by 30390 WAP 7 Royapuram.
Pulled out a couple of minutes ago. Overtook 12688 Dehradun - Madurai SF Express at VLT Valathoor. Should be able to make good time now given the train ahead is the Chennai Coimbatore Shtb.
Pulling in. No other train here at the moment.

The view from the lower deck is not bad. One doesn't realise one is on the lower deck except when the train passes a station or another train.

I did not see the original request before boarding. The train is halted at JTJ. I could step out and count but it is drizzling slightly. I will confirm at KPD, my destination.
