Yup such things should never happen again . I feel sorry for 300 persons who lost their lives
I discussed the derailment issue with few persons with Railway working ( SM,Signal engineers and ALPs)
They also could not arrive at conclusion .How Coro LP got thru signal when Goods train was parked in main line . At the time of accident ,Coro was running at 128 kmh As soon as Signal was changed , green to red , LP applied brake and 2 ...
more... coaches derailed jumped and coro Loco hit the goods train .
Coaches in behind fell on the down line .
The train going towards hwh ( banglore howrah )was Running at 116 kmh
This train was late by few hours and it crashed in to coaches with full speed .
were LP instructed to coverup delay ??( Such things are verbal )
Certain issue will never be brought out open so that IR can escape the responsibility of safety of passengers /crew lives
Note
Whenever. I travel,I pray to all the Gods for safety of train ,pax ,crew
please wait...Translate to EnglishSuch messed up stuff should never happen again. My heart goes out to the 300 peeps who lost their lives. Had a chat with a few folks at the railways - station masters, signal engineers, and ALPs. Even they couldn't figure out how the Coro LP passed the signal with the goods train in the way. Right before the crash, Coro was zippin' at 128 km/h and when the signal turned from green to red, LP hit the brakes, but two coaches went off track and smacked into the goods train. The coaches behind them tumbled onto the other line. The train headin' to HWH (Banglore to Howrah) was goin' at 116 km/h and since it was late, it rammed right into the other coaches at full throttle. Wonder if LP was told to hide the delay? Some stuff stays under wraps so the Indian Railways can dodge responsibility for passenger and crew safety. PS: Whenever I travel, I say a lil' prayer to the big man upstairs for the safety of the train, peeps, and crew.
