Unless the slip coaches cease to exist...this train isn't gonna get LHB coaches.
But the biggest impediment in getting the LHB coaches is SWR who don't allow multiple trains through the Braganza Ghat section due to lack of slots.

Much awaited mmts phase 2 services will be inaugurated on April 8 by pm modi along with secunderabad tirupati vande Bharat..
As per my guess the current umdanagar memu(previous dhmu) to be converted into Emu
11 years of wait fulfilled also some services were promised in 2003 only
Still disappointed because no update on ghatkesar and pathancheru (ramachandrapuram)

With available stock only they will operate the trains...does it means some trains between LPI-FM and LPI-HYB will be cancelled ?

LPI-HYB anyways has less crowd, but FM trains are jam-packed most of the time.

the way RB is introducing VBs, it just makes them not worth it IMO.

Example:

20825 BSP NGP VB:

already we can rule out one thing that its not really useful in a zone like SECR, and recent Charting Data by some members can prove it, and besides this is SECR, and literally Today's JCO Arrived Gondia 32mins late.


22223 CSMT SNSI VB:

Im not saying this train is bad, its just that its not being used to its fullest because it doesnt halt at Manmad, Which is a huge blow to its patronage, Had RB Given halt at MMR, this VB's patronage could easily rise more than its current state


22225 CSMT SUR VB:

nothing much to complain except Daund Halt shouldve been provided.
and besides theres much more cheaper options than this VB on this route.


off the mind i could only list these VBs with some major issues, if you have any else to add, feel free to add them in the replies, VBs seriously need a reconsideration of where they are introduced and the TTs as well, BUT On the major hand SOME VBs ARE Getting Good Patronage, like Varanasi VB and Gandhinagar Capital VB AND Maybe the Chennai - Mysore VB, but other than these select few, all others are a bit disappointing.

Vande Bharat with current seating arrangement should not be used if the train travel is longer than 5 hrs.
Also, I am seeing that VB's speed on many sections are lower than 70 kmph (avg speed)...VB should be used for sections at 80+ only so that they can maintain their distinct identity and not get lost.

Railways need to scrap the multiple classes of trains and stick to 4-5 classes only with standardized rakes

1. Long Distance Semi HSR (Rajdhani, Humsafar)....fully AC with avg speed 75+
2. Short Distance Semi HSR (Vande Bharat, Shatabdi)...fully AC with abg speed 75+

Short Distance Intercities (they can have mixed class)...avg speed at 50-60 kph
4. Long Distance Sleepers...avg speed 50-60
5. Long Distance Jansadharan/Antyodaya...avg speed 40-50

Trains which are costly, should be faster than non airconditioned class with less stoppages.

Cases can be made for them as well as a subset of Day time intercities, but what I mean to say is to avoid too many categories and use standard rakes.

atmAbhi, safety wise LHB karna first priority hai...isiliye to across India trunk routes pe trains ki top speed 110 se 130 ki ja rhi hai (which will be later upgraded to 160), some sectors like Pune-Wadi has recently got doubled, hence many trains are getting speeded up along with rake change.

Talks are going on to convert Pune-SC Shatabdi into VB rake...so slowly it has started to happen.

What was the point of creating this station, when there is only 1 service running from here ?
This station was formed to transfer MMTS load from LPI, as the city is expanding rapidly and last mile connectivity was missing.
While the stations like Umdanagar, Medchal, RCPT are developed and ready to receive new trains, why not SC/HYD Division work amongst themselves to start the local trains from these stations ?

Absolutely true, it's sad state of affairs when SWR is planning to quadruple the tracks between Bengaluru Cantt and Whitefield station, SCR is just lacking any will to even add 1 additional track between LPI and KCG.

SCR need to really up his game now, even smaller (comparatively) cities like Lucknow are planning multiple routes and diversions within the city to manage the flow of trains. SCR seems to be stuck in a pithole.

I guess the only hope is if Charlapalli terminus is operational, pelthora of trains will be shifted from SC and HYB to CHZ which will free up the space.
