Once Khandwa Indore line is complete the distance between LTT to INDB via Khandwa will be( 548+ 140 Km max)688 km .So if we complete the Khandwa to Mhow GC . Distance will be reduced to less than 690 Km.
Chota Udepur to Dhar and Dhar to Indore rail link on completion will also reduce the distance to around 690 Km.
Do we require NL for reducing 50 km distance.Inplace we should build 3-4 th line between Khandwa and BSL and double line between Mhow and Khandwa.

This is not only about to reduce the distance!
It is primary for Rail Goods Traffic generated from Indore and Pithampur. That needs a new dedicated rail line, so that GOODS can reach mumbai with in 24 hrs! that's why Indore-Manmand Rail line is very very important for Industrial growth!
Both Khandwa-Mumbai and Surat-Mumbai rail lines has already huge traffic, Indore-Manmand Rail line is best solution for all!

* Indore had been unlucky to have proper rail connection, but the plethora of new projects have ignited hopes for a much better future. Dewas-Maksi chord line, electrification of INDB-Dewas-UJN-NAD, G/C of Mhow-INDB-RTM-COR-AII have been completed. G/C of MHOW-KNW-AK, Dahod-Dhar-INDB new line, ChhotaUdepur-Dhar Newline & MMR-INDB new line.
* CSTM-MMR-Khandwa is already saturated and an extra line shall be required to take additional trains coming from Indore-Khandwa Guage converted route.
* Rightly said that third & fourth lines shall cost lesser than the new line for IR, but a new line shall not

only be shorter but much faster. Alternative CSTM-NK-IND-GWL-AGC-NDLS route shall put INDB very strongly on IR network. One time investment will give long term benefits.

Indore Manmad single Line will not be able to handle much load till it is 100% completed.The line will take 15-20 Years for completion.So we sud first complete the exiting NL projects, in order to get return on these NL.DFC Started in 2007 but hardly 50% work is finished in 10 years.Evn though funds are available for this Priority project. politician looks for votes and they announce new projects.Lalitpur Singrauli project and Bhopal ramganj Mandi ARE also a 15 years old projects in MP.
