SCR doesnt wants to handle the costly maintenance required on the line.

This is what i have been saying entire maintenance is handled by VSKP it wont be easy.
I feel BJP will dodge this and not give anything as they want to pacify Dharmendra Pradhan.

You are forgetting about SCCL which is the prime source of source of revenue for today's SCR. Even after partition SCCL remains with SCR only..
I have said - "It will still have freight lines like that Bhadrachalam line." - It was meant to be about Singareni mines only.
Also I think there are coal fields in Adilabad-Majri line under NED Divn too in addition to RDM-Sirpur stretch & BDCR/Manuguru(SC Divn). Any other important industries/freight traffic source in NED Divn ??
