കോഴിക്കോട് ∙ യശ്വന്ത്പൂർ– കണ്ണൂർ എക്സ്പ്രസിന്റെ സമയമാറ്റം യാത്രക്കാരെ വലയ്ക്കുന്നതായി പരാതി. നേരത്തേ രാത്രി 8നു പുറപ്പെട്ട് രാവിലെ 9.10ന് കണ്ണൂരെത്തിയിരുന്ന ട്രെയിൻ ഓഗസ്റ്റ് മുതൽ എത്തുന്നത് വൈകിയാണ്. പുറപ്പെടുന്ന സമയത്തിൽ മാറ്റമില്ലെങ്കിലും പാലക്കാട് മുതൽ...
usually mail was forced to wait at srr for 30+mins for yesvantpur-kannur to cross if not in between it was forced to wait at tanur or ferok to allow the crossing, but i agree mail being superfast can get rid of some low profitable stops.
may be the new timing would have been thought for loco change for yesvantpur - kannur at salem.
mail is on wap7 and if they can improve handover time of mail between salem and palakkad division things could improve.

SF is in name only, actual SF is Kannur Exp. Mail is overtaking Kannur from CBE and Kannur was overtaking from SRR. This caused inconvenience for both the train passengers. It was done due to diversion of CAN via CBE.
CAN Exp can continue before the mail so no issue. Actually it was reaching at 6:35 at CLT and 8:25 at CAN and dragged to 9:50 unnecessarily.
The same thing was did earlier when E.Ahmed was in charge, to help the bus lobby. Due to the protest it was changed back....
