Banihal and Khari railway stations in Ramban district. The USBRL project, which is expected to be completed by December 2023 or January 2024, will connect the Kashmir Valley to the Indian railway network, making travel between Jammu and Srinagar faster and more comfortable, estimated at 3.5 hours. The project also includes the world's highest railway bridge over the Chenab River, standing at 359 meters tall. The USBRL project is 272 km long and comprises 38 tunnels (119 km combined length), the longest being 12.75 km long. It also includes 927 bridges, including the iconic Chenab Bridge, the world's highest railway bridge. The project aims to improve transportation of goods, including apples and other agricultural products, and develop tourism opportunities.

USBRL project, jo December 2023 ya January 2024 tak complete hone ki ummeed hai, Kashmir Valley ko Indian railway network se connect karega, jisse Jammu aur Srinagar ke beech ki journey faster aur comfortable hogi, estimated 3.5 hours mein. Project mein Chenab River par world's highest railway bridge bhi include hai, jo 359 meters uncha hai. USBRL project 272 km lamba hai aur ismein 38 tunnels (119 km combined length), sabse lamba 12.75 km lamba hai. Ismein 927 bridges bhi include hain, jismein iconic Chenab Bridge, world's highest railway bridge bhi hai. Project ka aim hai goods ke transportation ko improve karna, jismein apples aur other agricultural products bhi include hain, aur tourism opportunities develop karna.
