The USBRL project is 272 km long and comprises 38 tunnels (119 km combined length), the longest being 12.75 km long. It also includes 927 bridges, including the iconic Chenab Bridge, the world's highest railway bridge. The project aims to improve transportation of goods, including apples and other agricultural products, and develop tourism opportunities.
