us throughout the journey, but due to some reasons, we were leading. However, our leading was now over, but was a twist again...
Locos - Indrani Express has Tughlakabad WDP4B 40050 in LHF mode. The Mail had Siliguri WDP4B 40037 in SHF mode...
Actually there was a cat and mouse change between the two, since last night. Both had reached New Farakka the same time, and we were allowed ahead. We had reached Malda Town @3:40, i.e 35 minutes ahead of time...just before our departure from there @4:25, 12525 slowly crept in. We were allowed to proceed....now here at Azamnagar, we are looped aside for the overtake...now you will be surprised to know that we re-overtook 12525 at Rangapani, the station before New Jalpaiguri and reached the destination before..by then we were 40 minutes late...
The overtake was useless...
