After a string of modernisation efforts, The Secundrabad Rly. station has over the last decade gone from a regular and unhygenic station to becoming a clean and better equipped one. It also has good passenger amenities. Escalators is in place at all PF's, serious cleanliness drive, checking of ticket less travelling and the latest proposal of baggage trolley for passengers, the modernisation efforts have started paying off.
However, the 'World class station' project has not taken off till date. The Secundrabad rly. station was supposed to be a part of the project that was going to make Rly.station as modern as Airports.

Another White Elephant, Newly introduced AC Express. Why SCR introduced it, when on the same day another express Ex SHM - SC is already running with huge vacancy. There are much more routes where demand is huge throughout the year.
