I am so stoked, bro! The OHE wiring gig has kicked off in the SLGR to DBRG turf. When I swung by on the 29th of October, there wasn't a single OHE pole in sight. NFR is aiming to zap up 97 kilometers first, connecting DBRG through SLGR and SRTN. The stretch from NTSK to Dangari via Ledo is about 145 kms, plus another 55-60 kms to hook up NTSK. Didn't spot any work on the OHE foundation yet. Wiring's all good till SLGR. They might do a check in Jan 2024 as DIBRUGARH gets electrified through Sibsagar SRTN.

Electrification News: Bhai, Khush Hoon ki OHE wiring ka kaam SLGR se DBRG section mein shuru ho gaya hai. Jab maine 29 October ko visit kiya tha, tab koi poles nahi the DMGN se DBRG tak. NFR ka target hai ki pehle 97 kms ko complete karein, DBRG se SLGR SRTN ke through connect karke, NTSK se jod kar 145 kms+55-60 kms approx tak Ledo/Dangari ko NTSK se link karein. Mujhe lagta hai ki OHE foundation ka koi kaam abhi tak nahi hua hai. SLGR tak wiring complete ho chuki hai. January 2024 mein Dibrugarh electric wires ke neeche aayega, Sibsagar SRTN se route lekar.

I asked on the PG Portal that there should be more passenger platforms at Sivasagar Town railway station. It's under the Tinsukia division and needs to be increased with FOBs. Since many long-distance trains arrive and depart from there, it will help passengers get on and off. Also, it lacks coach indicators, which are necessary and will be helpful for kids, women, and elderly passengers who take long-distance trains in the evening. Please help. ------------------------------------- Current Status: Case closed Date of Action: 08/01/2024 Remarks: The existing platform length was 200 meters, and it has been increased by 200 more meters towards DBRG end. There is an ongoing progress to increase it by an additional 150 meters towards Simaluguri end, which will be completed by March 2024. There are no train crossings at SRTN due to SLGR junction and MRHT station where crossings occur. Due to a curvature of 4.5 degrees at SRTN, it's not feasible to construct platforms on the other side. Now the platform length at SRTN will be 550 meters which is feasible for any kind of train boarding or detraining.

Yeh ek District Headquarter ka important Station hai jahan bhagwan ke bhakt aate hain aur yeh ONGC Assam Asset ke pass sthit hai.

Aur SRTN par koi trains ka peechhaabandi nahi hota hai kyunki SLGR junction aur MRHT station ki upastithi ke karan aur KRHT station teen lines ke liye banaya gaya hai jahan peechhaabandi hoti hai. SRTN par 4.5 degree ka curvature kisi bhi manual ke anusaar andar waale platform ka nirman nahi deta, doosri taraf PF ka nirman sambhav nahi hai. Ab SRTN par PF ki lambai 550 m hogi jo kisi bhi tarah ki train ke liye safar karne ya utarna baithne ke liye theek hai. KRHT aur SLGR 15 km ke andar hain jahan train peechhaabandi hoti hai saari suvidhaon ke saath.

Railway Electrification in Tinsukia Division when I was on the 15669 GHY DBRG Nagaland Express and coming back:
1. Simaluguri to Moranhat, the foundation for OHE is fully placed.
2. Erecting OHE poles from Moranhat to Lepetkata.
3. No foundation for OHE being laid from Lepetkata to Dibrugarh.
