The Radhikapur Station, located near the India-Bangladesh border, only has one daily train to Kolkata, the Radhikapur-Howrah Kulik Express. This route will offer new transportation options for passengers in Kolhan and various branch lines in Odisha. Tatanagar will serve as the maintenance hub for the Brahmapur Vande Bharat train, with other stations taking over maintenance responsibilities to ensure a dedicated pit line for the train. Two new Vande Bharat train rakes are ready for launch, expected before August 15th. Meanwhile, preparations are underway in Chakradharpur for the launch of Vande Bharat Express trains between Tatanagar and Patna, and Tatanagar and Banaras. The Tatanagar station is also undergoing upgrades to handle Vande Bharat train maintenance, including a new traction system for cleaning and repair of the coaches.

Do new Vande Bharat train rakes 15 August se pehle launch hone ki ummeed hai. Chakradharpur mein Tatanagar-Patna aur Tatanagar-Banaras Vande Bharat train launch ki taiyaari chal rahi hai. Umesh Nagar in the Khagaria direction, connecting to the Barauni-Katihar rail line. Additionally, a 7 km long bypass line from Ratanpur to Munger will also be doubled. This project is expected to improve train services between Munger and Bhagalpur. The project was approved in the recent budget, and a survey was conducted with ₹50 crore allocated for it. 95% of the entire Bridge which is in water & land before Sabdulpur Jn is under ECR. 5% part which is in Munger city is under ER I think

Shatabdi is kinda popular but condition of it before COVID was better than present.
Problems like Inadequate maintainace ( even though some coaches are old LHB), downgrade in food quality are mainly reported by people . But it is punctual & enjoys a good priority
