If there's has been democratic principles left then government would have been long stepped back in interfering with farmers. 10 years is long time to achieve a lot of things and If they really cared then the government should have invested in making facilities for fertilizer and pesticides and that would've strengthened farmers so that they can become atmnirbhar but reality is totally different.

I cant see bro which farmer is earning more. Bhai apke fantasy apne paas rakho. I belong to pace called rice bowl of Bihar ( Rohtas/ sasaram). What I know most farmers are marginalized farmers. The simple question why government is not implementing MS Swaminathan C2+50 per cent formula, which includes the input cost of capital and the rent on the land, to give the farmers 50 per cent of the returns.

MSP for wheat n India is around 2200 but same can be imported from Russia at just 1800. Can't the government provide amenities to farmers so that the production and cost be par to Russia . We can produce in 1500 too but government participation is negligible. Apart from publishing picture of modi ji I couldn't find any participation.

, true you can not compare with a country with 15 crores and 140 crores. Also in Russia 6% population is only involved in agriculture where as in India it is at least 50%. If you enhance these 50% then GDP will boom but not forcefully pushing the policies.

If you do little analysis hen you can get to know where government should put its ideas to enhance not to deteriorate farmers conditions.

Shop keeper losses are insured but hardy any marginalized farmer can afford or aware about crop insurance.
