Amidst all speculations, atleast I was completely sure dat d loco link for my trn is P7 of HWH shed. After departing frm HWH, d trn cruised to mps just after leaving mainline at Bally stn. Lots of TSRs between HWH-BWN prevented it frm giving a smooth run till BWN. N d result.. reached my first halt BWN delayed by 10 mins. Even though it was delayed, it posted a humugous avg of 76 kmph. Bt those 10 mins delay didn't bother me at all as I was completely assured of a smooth run till MGS. Bt d main issue was putting an end to the speculations n quench my thirst of curiosity. Bt, I had to wait longer as I didn't take a risk of running frm S6 coach to loco n back to my coach. D trn stopped 4 mins n departed frm pf#1. As soon as it departed, after 2-3 mins, it was in mps again n thrashed all stns till its second halt DGR. Even after departing 10 mins late frm BWN, it reached DGR 4 mins BT. This means it did BWN-DGR in just 40 mins wid a faadu avg of 96 kmph. Yes, 96. BT arrival meant ample tym to run to the loco n see d loco link n come back. As soon as d trn stopped, I ran n saw d road no. The signal was displaying Green,so I didn't stop to take pics n just ran back after seeing d loco no. It was 30321 HWH P7. Now, why dis P7 was special coz it is d favourite loco of our fellow rf Mr. Rajdeep (black moon don). I informed this to my fellow rfs n dey also said d same thing "Rajdeep to sunte hi pagla jayega!!! ??????????" Amidst all this, d trn departed RT frm DGR n again it started belting mps in d quadruple section of ASN div. 12317 Akal Takht sf exp was ahead of it n I got to know dat 12317 has arrived BT at ASN. I was also fancying my chances of a BT arrival at ASN for d first tym during my trips in d legendary Poorva sf. The trn was cruising at mps n it reached ASN outer 5 mins BT where it halted for a mere 10-20 seconds or so n den departed. Bt dat didn't deter it to arrive BT by 2 mins at ASN (a rare feat achieved). Upto ASN, barring halts, d running avg was abv 80 kmph. Dat was awesome. Till den everything was fyn. The trn was already crowded frm BWN itself wid wl pax n rac pax. Bt at ASN, it got more crowded. Nevertheless, d trn departed RT frm ASN n all my fellow rfs asked me to give the loco pics for which I said dat I would take some at DHN as it would be more BT there. Bt they said dat the trn wud not be BT at DHN. After departing ASN, it crawled till Sitarampur where it was tym to say bye bye to d mainline n enter d vintage Grand Chord. After departing Sitarampur, d trn again got to mps (offcourse some TSRs in between were there) n reached DHN 7 mins BT. Even my fellow rfs were surprised nd were awed by the magnificient run of d trn till den. It gave me ample tym to go ahead n click some loco pics n also of d stn. D crew also got changed n I at last clicked d pics n provided to all rfs. There was a lot of rush at DHN to board d trn. Rest of my travel story in next 2 remaining chapters. Providing loco pics n of DHN stn n also of DGR stn.
