As we can see many Vande Bharat Express is in pipeline, one more route can be explored for better patronage i.e.
Varanasi - Patna/Patliputra - Barauni - Katihar - New Jalpaiguri (Approx 700 -720 Kms). It will give connectivity to Guwahati through upcoming Vande Bharat From NJP to Guwahati. It will increase tourists patronage.

Its approx under 850 Kms and with proper planning and speed limit it can be achieved. Otherwise 3-3 days from both patna and Gaya routes will be more feasible.
