Here are some recent updates on the Karaikal-Peralam railway line project ┬╣ ┬▓ ┬│:
- The Karaikal-Peralam new line project is progressing at a steady pace with the majority of minor bridges along the stretch having been completed.
- The project, which is being executed by the construction branch of the Southern Railway, involves the construction of new station buildings, one major bridge, 77 minor bridges, one road over bridge, one road under bridge, and 21 limited-use subways.

In past 20 years the Tamil nadu region only got handful of new lines. most of the lines came are GC. It is high time as the GC in TN ended, to kickstart some mega connectivity New line projects in Tamil nadu with its neighbours. Vote for ur best contender for that project. (kms150 alone considered). For first and last 2 options, Kindly mention the reasons in comments.
