A 20-Car VB was turned out by ICF yesterday.
As of now, allotment is not done. Most probably around the North region, I guess.
I don't think it could be a VB metro cause 12/16C is only there for that type of train.. 20C ЁЯдФЁЯдФ interesting

"With more than 60 Vande Bharat train rakes currently in operation, produced entirely by ICF, the plan includes manufacturing 15 longer Vande Bharat train sets, each comprising 20 coaches, alongside 10 rakes of 16 coaches and 9 rakes of 8 coaches, marking an expansion in capacity and service offerings, reports Free Press journal."

I feel that the Shtbs' having short distance travel, like the NDLS CDG (244kms), NDLS Kalka (269kms), NDLS Kathgodam (282kms) should be retained cause having a VB run for these small stretches would be a waste of rake... instead of VB, they can make use of VB Metro (although limit is 200km, but can still run depending on the MPS of those particular trains' sections).... Shtbs' having distance more than 350kms can be thought of either having Shtb or VB rake....
