The speed of the train in MAS - CBE Section on the up journey is great, although It drags to cover the distance between ERN - TVC due to speed restriction, something can be made to increase the MPS in this are.

On Down journey the travelling time between CBE - MAS takes longer than the other SF trains, SR can do something to increase the MPS and Average Speed of the train as this train has high patronage.

If train no: 12661 / 12662 Podhigai superfast Express is extended till Kollam, this may serve more for the people from Kollam, Punalur, Bhagavathipuram area to reach Madurai and Chennai.

Change in timings of Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Bi-Weekly AC Express from Jul 01
Trivandrum: The timings of AC Biweekly Express from Thiruvananthapuram Central to MGR Chennai Central has been revised permanently due to operational reasons. The new timings will come into force from 01st July 2019. There is no change in the days of service (Wednesdays and Sundays).

Time Change is really a great move, but slow down 25 mins again is not a good one, now the running time will be increased from 14 hr 35 mins to 15 hour where TVC Shalimar SF Express, Ananthapuri Express travels in 16 hrs followed by 12698 in 16hrs and 05 mins.
Dynamic Faring and Rajdhani typing along with old ICF coaches, ppl used to travel because of speed but now the train is slowed down. Kudos this happens only in Southern Railway that too MAS - TVC Division.
