Well, this is often a subject of confusion among Timeline Monitors / other non-monitors who update Timelines. So I decided to cover this topic.
For example, a station has 4 PFs (PF 1, 2, 3 & 4). For this station, a train arrives in fixed platforms 1 & 2, but not in PF 3 & 4. However this train is known to arrive more frequently in PF 2 (say 60% chance) than in PF 1 (say 40% chance). So how should the Station Platform update for this train be made?

please wait...Translate to EnglishYo, so this shit can get hella confusing for those Timeline Monitors and other peeps who update Timelines. But don't trip, I gotchu! Let's break it down, fam.
Imagine there's this badass station with 4 platforms, you know, PF 1, 2, 3, and 4. Now, there's this train that rolls up all smooth on platforms 1 and 2, but it ain't got no business on PF 3 and 4. But here's the deal, this train has a thing for showing up more often on PF 2, like 60% of the damn time, while it only shows up on PF 1 like 40% of the time. So, how the hell do we update the Station Platform for this train?
I'm open to all y'all's thoughts on this, so holla at me with them comments. Much appreciated, fam.
And if you got any other ideas bouncin' around in that head of yours, don't be shy, drop 'em in the comments too.
