Very sad incident it was.
One of biggest accident in the history of IR.
What happened to the 24 nos of coaches? Only 1 GS coach of 12864 is there in KGP Workshop.

A small correction.
As soon as the loco pilot pressed the emergency brake suddenly, due to high velocity of the train at 128kmph and suddenly emergency brake, the loco due to inertia of motion flied up and climbed over the freight train. As soon as the coupling with loco detached, there as a sudden jerk on LVPH Coach next to loco, it derailed and all subsequent coaches got derailed.

Today is the day on which 1 year ago at bahanarabazar stn, Coromondel exp, Freight train and SMVB-HWH Exp collided. The engine of Coromondel exp climbed above Freight train.
Today morning another almost similar Accident took place in Punjab near Madhopur station, where 2 Freight trains Collided and engine of 1 freight train climbed above another. Major accident happened today morning.

More pictures of today's accident. These pics remind us of a similar pics on today's date last year.
Again engine climbing top of freight train wagon, again accident between 2 trains but 3rd train coach got involved in accident between 2 trains. Very similar pictures repeated after exactly 1 year after and exactly on same date.
2 passengers of the passenger train reported also injured.

See by stopping separate railway budget, money got looted and work in last 10 years not done. Resulting in very frequent accidents be it small or big happening every month somewhere or the other. Instead of increasing speed, in SER if u see almost 90% trains got slowed down from June 2024. Then where is Mission Raftaar project money got spent in last 8 years????
Also, vacant posts in railways r not filled and all staffs r working in overpressure resulting in health issues and causing accidents, causing poor maintainance, all resulting in increase in accidents.

In this Tender, 2 New Pitlines will be constructed for VB Maintainance.

Seems SER brought its TAAG so soon. Or maybe a strategy to show that we have increased train speed in the new TAAG, by recovering the same timetable back in the TAAG 2024-25 issue, as all of these are slow downs?

Trains r slowed down to run more freight trains, to give more passengers to local bus mafias, to give more passengers to private flights. Already 95% trains in SER r running late everyday from last almost 2 years, now TT is slowed down and additional late will be there.
All steps to privatise railways. Make everything worst be it punctuality, cleanliness of toilets, trains, slow TT and more travel time, etc.....then they will oneday give IR to private citing now onwards trains will be clean, run on time, fast trains, etc and private will increase ticket prices out of control of govt just like airlines now. They will get donation from private and use in election.
