That had happen if IR ran by logic. By nope, they had rather give stoppage at Sihapar Halt, where there isn't a platform or a proper ticket counter; than a proper station.

I agree with you. Lesser clicking is one of the benefits of this system. Either case, the rollout should be temporary [ just like how a stoppage of a train at a new station is temporary] and feedback from users here should be considered. If folks are happy with this system, keep it. If not, then roll it back some time down the line. But yes, atleast give a chance to the new system so that all users can atleast familiarize themselves and give their opinion.

And this political meddling is slowly chewing off the system. Stoppage should be given based on whether a station can provide the revenue or not. Initially a temporary stoppage, then permanent and if revenue falls, remove the stoppage. It should completely be OUT OF CONTROL of MP/MLA hands and ordinary folks should have direct access to railway officials to submit their demands. Outside of the Rail Minister, IR should act as an independent federal institution subject to monetary requirements and people's judgements.
