Why does SR always want to give away its trains to other zones? Dont they even have the capacity to run a dedicated train with their own rake to CAPE from MS? Its the passengers who will be affected if Island Exp is delayed.

What will SR try to achieve by delinking the rakes of PC and MS-CAPE? Pathetic to see the way the zone is functioning. They didnt even care to build a pitline at CAPE and decongest NCJ.

As of now it is having 24 hrs TAT at SCR end. I doubt it will get morning departure from secunderabad/charlapalli side, owing to many number of departures right from kaghaznagar intercity the line up is big towards bibinagar and even in guntur line, right from employees intercity, tpty vande bharat, janmabhoomi is there and in the single line has to accomodate incoming trains towards secundrabad in guntur division. Do you think one more such slot will be inserted between these lineups which are already present in early morning hours?

Yes I am aware that till ghatkesar it is quadruple line, from ghatkesar till pagidipalli cabin it is double line and thereafter it is single line till nallapadu. Asking since there is a lineup towards guntur and trains from visakha till return shabari has to cross everything in the single line stretch. Is this scenario manageable as per TT was my doubt. If yes then no issues.

Easily they can consider pairing RSA with mannai express with spare ICF coaches, duly delinking thiruchendur express from the RSA and increasing its coaches from 18 to 22 or 24 since thiruchendur express always runs with full rush and unfortunately it became a solo train for both end to end and intermediate caterance.

Okay availability of platform at secundrabad is an issue not denying. Issue is the line up is huge Between Cherlapalli to pagidipalli, and beyond it has to be back of tirupati VB and has to handle all crossings from vishaka slot to palnadu slot or return shabari slot in the single line. That's the only issue I am asking that will such slot be really possible in the routine. 9 am slot departure seems perfectly better in this aspect.

Thing is, chennai / major metropolitan cities of South needed more trains to cities in north-eastern states, no second opinion in that. But, thing is extension of this one will NOT be a solution for it. These type of trains are very much required to decongest the crowd of northern part and interiors of West Bengal from the trains that are going to north eastern states, duly serving them. Quota allocation in such trains from north east is also less for interior of west Bengal and north part of it. So, i don't think extension should be needed. Frequency increase can be done for this.

I think in this regard frequency increase should be of more help than extension. Making Vivek 5 times a week from weekly itself is a very impactful. Plus, trains like tatanagar ernakulam becoming daily from biweekly, etc.. agree that introduction of new train is difficult task.

Cant ignore SC SCL as well. LTT DBRG should be made daily as SC SCL as well. Atleast mumbai has three regular running weeklies and a biweekly to guwahati whereas Secunderabad has poor connection to north east, only one such train 12513/14 is existing and remaining all are special trains, and you know how do they run. Hope these SC DBRG/AGTL specials are made regular trains with frequency increase of 12513/4. Agree that Pune is not connected till date, for which a new train via ANG BSL ET JBP PNBE can be started.

Towards mumbai it sounds good sir but not towards hyderabad, since that devagiri is one of the prime train for sambhaji nagar to mumbai and vice versa even now, it should have good arrival timings at sambhaji nagar. Plus, TAT is more in SCR side so I think it is difficult to shift the PM. Ajanta serving as a prime train between hyderabad to sambhaji nagar or shirdi (via Nagarsol), which is always running full when it is running upto manmad only, will it be a good idea to extend to CSMT?

Far better than previous days when it has RSA with simhapuri express when it used to have PM at SC with TAT of around 8 hours and simhapuri gets easily rescheduled when devagiri used to be late. there were lot of instances. Even narayanadri RSA was having a tighter schedule towards lingampalli and tirupati. This RSA seems far better in this aspect. Minimum 6 hrs TAT at lingampalli without any scheduled maintenance at pitline and PM at kakinada. But, one thing is cleanliness of gowthami will be compromised no second opinion in this.

Originally in its ICF Era. it had 4 GS, 12 Sleeper 5 3rd AC, 1 Second AC Coach, Consisting of 24 Coaches, which has been reduced to 22 Coaches in LHB, also including the drastic reduction in Sleeper Coaches, which jumped from 12 to 4, which is pretty disappointing, Oh well. nothing much can be done Now, Hopefully Railways reduced Sleeper Coaches by maybe 4 or 5 Coaches more.

The Loco which brought 12140 was AJNI/WAP-7/37575. While returning, Today's link is BSL WAP4 22876.
