There aren't any online Taxi/Cab aggregators in the town so one has two rely on haggling with the auto-rickshaw which run without metres. Usually the rate for a full auto for a 2 km ride is around Rs 30-40.
If you're alone and light on luggage come out of the main exit and you'd get shared autos near Babsaheb Ambedkar Putala.
The rates are in multiple of 10 and you'd get autos to every part of the town.

The Railway Retiring Room is situated on the First Floor on Platform#1. Stayed at the Dormitory for one night and it had 8 beds in total. Few of my observations:
1. Clean bedding was provided at night.
2. Every bed has an Steel Almirah alongside to keep valuables provided that you bring your own locks.

Travelled from Aurangabad to Nanded in AC Chair car and noticed that the Pantry Car serves Vegetarian food only. The food is made to order and orders for snacks are taken just after the train departs Aurangabad. The options included Sabudana Vada, Vada Pav and Bread Cutlet and these are served post-Jalna. Tea and Coffee, as well as other dry snacks, were available throughout the journey. Had Bread Cutlet which was served hot and tasted good, the cost was Rs 50.

4 breads(all buttered) and 2 cutlets. Maybe they charged 20 extra than the standard rate for 2 breads :D

Those of you who wish to travel further to Pune from Panvel, come out of the Main Exit and hire an auto-rickshaw(costs Rs 150-200) to Kalamboli Highway Bus Stand, here you'll find almost all Buses as well as private cabs stopping for Pickup.These all ultimately travel either via Wakad, Chandni Chowk, Swargate or via Talegaon, Chinchwad, Shivajinagar. To be on the safer side avoid taking Cabs altogether and preferably take the State Transport Buses like MSRTC, KSRTC, NWKRTC, TSRTC, APSRTC, etc.
Travel SAFE
