Sharing some of my personal experience with this train when i travelled in it in march.
I stay nearly 15km away from pune station. So it's a very terrible & tough idea of even getting to pune jn before 5.30a.m. Those who hav personal vehicles,its great,bt those who rely on bus or auto,i suggest them to pre book a dial-cab one night advance. I had to spend my 400 bucks to stay in lodge for one night near pune jn. as it was impossible to reach jn from my home, in the early morning.

ur right.. i can understand ... problem in pune is that public transport is not available at such wee hours.. something should be done..

we railfans have spend a lot of time to learn these tips.. but making it public is not a good practise .(do u know railways never made such things public because they themselves know that some things are to kept secret) even the TTE does not know BP change.. his chart also do not have that information....one day we railfans will not get cnf tickets ...

this VSKP -ltt train 18519.. left secunderabad at 1310 hours. after it departed lingampally at 1405 , pune secunderabad shatbadi crossed us in opp. direction to reach secunderabd at 1420 hours and after 20 min rest .. it returns back to pune at 1440 (if there is no delay),,, and overtakes this VSKP LTT generally at solapur around 8 pm.. and reaches pune at 2310 hours.. and VSKP _LTT reaches pune at 0055 hours... ..what a great train this shatabdi.

Railwasi 50 blog poststhis is best train for people boarding nearby to Lingampally. as it reaches around lingampally at around 2pm.. so need not catch other trains from Begumpet by unnecesaarily travelling in oppossite direction..
1) tickets are easily available.. and maximum waiting list is cleared at the time of charting.
2) fare is less as compared to hussain nagar (because of no superfast surcharge around Rs 30 per person in SL)
